OAKLAND’S YOUTH TAKE THE STAGE

Elevate Oakland produces live stage performance events at students’ schools, local fairs and festivals and community venues such as Oakland’s Fox Theater and Yoshi’s Jazz Club. These opportunities provide the chance to perform with both professional musicians as well as other students and to experience work behind the scenes. Stages serve as a bridge to life after school – a life built on focus, handwork and perseverance.
